Active Essex is the Sport and Physical Activity Partnership for Greater Essex with the vision: “To create a more physically active and sporting environment for all people in Greater Essex to enable everyone to participate in the activity of their choice at their chosen level”. Active Essex is hosted by Essex County Council.

Active Norfolk provides sports and fitness opportunities for all in Norfolk. Working closely with schools, businesses, clubs, coaches and other organisations to initiate and develop sports in the county, Active Norfolk continues to make a significant impact on public health in the East of England.

Find a Player is a smartphone app designed to act as a hub between sports people and events in local areas. We are a small but intensely committed organisation, built up and employing directly from the very communities within which we work. We operate within the ‘sport for development’ sector and aim to bring positive social change in areas such as health and wellbeing, substance misuse and employment, through the powerful medium of sport, and basketball specifically.
The London Fitness Tour is a new way to stay fit and active in London by exploring its culture, music and history. We organise sessions that last from 45 minutes during lunch breaks to a couple of hours at weekend where we power walk and exercise across parks, rooftop gardens, city farms, tunnels, street art, temples and much more to stimulate the brain and exercise without realising.

Poplar HARCA is a Housing Association who own and manage around 9,500 homes in Poplar, East London; the majority of these were transferred from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets back in 1998. Since then, we have refurbished all those homes and built almost 1,000 new ones. We invest heavily in making Poplar a great place to live, with 13 community centres and many programmes aimed at engaging the local residents and making Poplar a great place to live. We recognise that tech will play an important part in the future of all sectors and are keen to embrace this revolution and find solutions that bring the most benefit to the end user
